Since 2016, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport has used the annual Cyber Security Breaches Survey to track trends related to cyber-security and breaches. The latest findings in the 2020 survey indicate that cyber-attacks are becoming not only more frequent, but also more sophisticated. This month’s newsletter also includes information on a ruling by the Supreme Court regarding employee liability for data breaches and the benefits of having equipment breakdown insurance.
